The exhibition has been realised through cooperation between Trakošćan Castle Museum and Yangzhou Museum, and introduces visitors to “the world of medieval travel, the exchange of knowledge and goods, and the lasting legacy of these contacts,“, according to the information on the Trakošćan Castle Museum website.
The director of Trakošćan Castle Museum, Goranka Horjan, pointed out that this exhibition represents a continuation of the international museum cooperation that began last year with the presentation of an exhibition on Trakošćan in Yangzhou.
The exhibition has been realized in collaboration with the Yangzhou Regional Museum and the Confucius Institute at the University of Zagreb, with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia.
The exhibition runs through 5 July 2026.
