Croatia faces global shortage of midwives

ZAGREB, 2 May (Hina) - Marking International Day of the Midwife, the Croatian professional chamber warned that this year’s global campaign, “The world needs one million more midwives”, is particularly relevant for Croatia, which already faces a pronounced shortage of staff ensuring safe and humane childbirth.
