Varaždin wines among best in Croatia, conference hears

ZAGREB, 22 Feb (Hina) - Varaždin County, with just two per cent of Croatia's vineyard area, has won 216 medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards in six years, ranking second nationally, it was said at a conference organised by Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts Institute for Scientific Work in Varaždin and the county.
