WWF Adria warns of dangers posed by abandoned fishing gear

ZAGREB, 8 June (Hina) - WWF Adria marked World Oceans Day, observed on 8 June, by highlighting the need to tackle one of the most harmful forms of marine litter --abandoned, lost or discarded fishing gear (ALDFG) in the ocean, known as "ghost gear," -- warning that it threatens marine life and damages fragile habitats.
