Croatia’s UNESCO-listed Procession of Queens celebrated in eastern village

ZAGREB, 24 May (Hina) - Residents of the eastern Croatian village of Gorjani on Sunday held the traditional spring Procession of Queens (Ljelje), a centuries-old Pentecost custom inscribed by UNESCO on the List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2009.
