DZS: Budget deficit at 3% of GDP in 2025, debt down to 56.3%

ZAGREB, 22 April (Hina) - Croatia’s general government deficit reached €2.8 billion in 2025, or 3% of GDP, up by nearly €800 million year on year, while public debt rose by over €3bn to €52.4bn but fell by 1.1 percentage points to 56.3% of GDP, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS) said.
