Government proposes “floating” VAT mechanism for energy products

ZAGREB, 20 April (Hina) - The government has sent draft amendments to the Value Added Tax Act to parliament, introducing a so-called “floating” VAT mechanism for energy products, aimed at enabling rapid fiscal responses to disruptions caused by the conflict in the Middle East, but only in exceptional circumstances.
