British portal: Turkish Supreme Court upholds 30-year sentence of Croatian captain

ZAGREB, 10 March (Hina) - Turkey's Supreme Court in Ankara has upheld the conviction against Croatian captain Marko Bekavac and the first officer of the ship "Phoenician M", Ali Albokhari, who were sentenced in 2024 to 30 years in prison for cocaine smuggling on board the vessel, the British portal Seatrade Maritime News reported.
