The exhibition features works by Croatian artists Vladimir Frelih and Leo Vukelić and was organised by the Croatian Civil Society in Argentina, a group representing around 400 Croats and their descendants in Tierra del Fuego.
Silvina Biott, the association's spokeswoman, said the exhibition explores memory, landscape and the deep connection between water, history and contemporary identity through photography and audiovisual works.
The exhibition will run at Ushuaia's cultural centre from 18 to 27 February.
Belén Molina, the city’s head of culture, welcomed the exhibition, highlighting its relevance to Ushuaia and broader Patagonia, particularly the fragility of ecosystems and their impact on migration and cultural identity.
"From the city administration's perspective, such spaces for dialogue and collective reflection are crucial. Through culture and art, the community can address issues that transcend borders," Molina concluded.
