Split mayor says controversial pole to be removed, new one to be installed

ZAGREB, 13 Feb (Hina) - Split Mayor Ivica Puljak said on Thursday he would respect a court ruling and remove the date of Split's liberation from fascism that was added later to a stone flagpole on Pjaca square, and announced plans to install a new pole that will feature all significant historical dates.
