Catalonia will be independent sooner or later, says Catalan delegate

ZAGREB, Oct 14 (Hina) - Catalonia will be independent sooner or later because otherwise not only Catalonia and Spain but also Europe and the world will have a problem, Eric Hauck, the Catalan government delegate to Southeast Europe, said on Monday, after nine Catalan politicians and activists were given sentences, ranging between nine and 13 years, for their roles in a failed attempt at gaining independence for Catalonia in 2017.
