Croatia, Austria discuss closer cooperation in Hypo Bank scandal

ZAGREB, Aug 26 (Hina) - Croatian Justice Minister Ante Sprlje and a member of an Austrian parliamentary commission of inquiry in charge of a corruption scandal involving Hypo Alpe Adria Bank, Rainer Hable, discussed in Zagreb on Friday the need to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries in uncovering and prosecuting wrongdoing in that case, which involves persons from Croatia, notably Istria and Zagreb, Sprlje's office said in a statement.
