FinMin rejects claims 2019 law changes enabled waste crime

ZAGREB, 15 Sept (Hina) - Finance Minister Tomislav Ćorić on Tuesday rejected claims that legislative changes introduced in 2019, during his tenure as environment minister, had opened the door to uncontrolled imports of waste into Croatia, saying about 400 inspections of cross-border waste shipments were carried out each year.
