Environment ministry: Hazardous waste cannot be freely imported

ZAGREB, 5 Sept (Hina) - Croatia does not allow unlimited imports of all types of waste and it is incorrect to claim that hazardous waste can be freely imported, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition said on Saturday, confirming that waste imports increased after Croatia joined the EU and peaked in 2021.
