Habijan: We will seek to raise the fine for ecocide to €50m

ZAGREB, 27 Aug (Hina) - Justice Minister Damir Habijan said the Government would consider a proposal on 10 September to introduce ecocide as a criminal offence and increase penalties for serious environmental crimes, including doubling the maximum fine for legal entities from €25 million to €50 million.
