35th anniversary of OiV worker killed while defending transmitter marked

ZAGREB, 23 Aug (Hina) - The 35th anniversary of the death of Đuro Podboj, an employee of the Croatian transmission company OIV, who was killed on 23 August 1991 while defending a transmitter during attacks by Serb rebels supported by the JNA army, was marked on Sunday at the local transmitter in Popovac, east Croatia.
