Bačić: Hazardous waste from Gospić to be shipped out of Croatia

ZAGREB, 13 Aug (Hina) - Croatia has stepped up efforts to the highest level to clean up an illegal waste dump in Gospić, Physical Planning Minister Branko Bačić said on Thursday, confirming that around 30,000 tonnes of waste will be shipped abroad because Croatia has no suitable facility to handle it.
