Polish national admits Međugorje vandalism, prosecution seeks detention

ZAGREB, 30 July (Hina) - Polish national Bartłomiej Włodzimierz Krakowiak admitted on Thursday to desecrating statues of the Virgin Mary and setting fire to the outdoor altar of St James' Church in Međugorje, after which the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina requested that he be remanded in custody, his lawyer Danisa Gačanin told Hina.
