Fragmented farms seen as key obstacle to agricultural competitiveness

ZAGREB, 19 July (Hina) - The fragmentation of agricultural holdings is a major reason behind the inefficiency and lack of competitiveness of Croatia’s agriculture, prompting the Chamber of Agriculture (HPK) to announce an initiative for a new inheritance law modelled on those in Austria and Slovenia to halt the trend.
