Croatia records more births, but also more abortions in 2025

ZAGREB, 12 July (Hina) - A total of 32,936 children were born in Croatia last year, 361 more than in 2024, although the number of legally induced abortions also increased, according to the latest Croatian Health Statistics Yearbook published by the Croatian Institute of Public Health (HZJZ).
