The first runner-up was Martina Dulić from Serbia, who wore a traditional dress of Bunjevci, while the second runner-up title went to Mihaela Šokić from Vidovice, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Miss Photogenic title was awarded to Eva Matić from Čapljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This year's event featured 21 Croatian women from 12 countries – Argentina, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Norway, Peru, Romania, Serbia and Switzerland. Each participant presented the traditional costume of her community or region of origin, showcasing the richness of Croatian heritage preserved for centuries beyond Croatia's borders.
The Traditional Clothing Showcase and selection of the most beautiful Croatian woman in traditional dress outside Croatia has brought together women from Croatia and the diaspora for 13 years, with the aim of preserving, promoting and presenting Croatian traditional culture and strengthening ties between Croatian communities abroad and their homeland.
HMI said the event was not a beauty contest in the usual sense, but a celebration of authenticity, cultural heritage and the identity of Croatian communities around the world.
The event was organised by the Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Croatian Traditional Culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina "Stećak", in cooperation with HMI and the Tomislavgrad Cultural and Information Centre.
