Bankwatch: Western Balkans coal plants remain major polluters

ZAGREB, 23 June (Hina) - Coal-fired power plants in the Western Balkans remain a major source of hazardous pollution, emitting 6.6 times more sulphur dioxide (SO2) in 2025 than permitted limits, according to a new report by the Prague-based Bankwatch Network.
