Croatia food output down since EU entry as imports surge, employers warn

ZAGREB, 22 May (Hina) - Croatia is producing less food than before joining the European Union, while food imports and trade deficits continue to rise, the Croatian Employers’ Association (HUP) said on Friday, calling for reforms to boost domestic production and reduce import dependence.
