Anti-SLAPP bill envisages up to €20,000 in fine against malicious claimant

ZAGREB, 22 Feb (Hina) - Croatia has published draft legislation allowing courts to fine claimants up to €20,000 if they are found to have brought malicious lawsuits intended to silence individuals engaged in public participation, including journalists, in SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation) cases.
