Ministry: Cities, not state, decide on nighttime alcohol sales

ZAGREB, 13 Feb (Hina) - The Economy Ministry on Friday clarified that the government is not banning alcohol sales after 8 p.m., amid media reports on proposed amendments to the Trade Act. Instead, cities and municipalities will have the authority to regulate evening and nighttime alcohol sales based on local needs, the Ministry said.
