Former Otok mayor sentenced to community service

ZAGREB, 28 Jan (Hina) - The former HDZ mayor of the eastern town of Otok, Josip Šarić, has reached a plea deal with the anti-corruption office USKOK at the Osijek County Court over misuse of official bank cards and was sentenced to 11 months in prison, commuted to community service, his lawyer Fran Olujić confirmed to Hina.
