Opposition questions safety of radioactive waste centre; HDZ: It will be safe

ZAGREB, 11 Dec (Hina) - Opposition parties said on Thursday that they back the construction of the Centre for the Disposal of Nuclear Waste from the Krško Nuclear Power Plant but raised concerns over the safety of the Čerkezovac military site, while the HDZ maintained that the waste will be handled in line with the highest safety standards.
