Roman military watchtower discovered by archaeologists in eastern Croatia

ZAGREB, 5 July (Hina) - Archaeologists have discovered a Roman military watchtower in Mohovo, a village by the River Danube just outside Ilok in eastern Croatia, the director of the Institute of Archaeology, Marko Dizdar, said on Saturday while presenting the results of the excavation works that began at the site in early April.
