Former ministry official sentenced under plea agreement

ZAGREB, 26 June (Hina) - A former adviser at the Ministry of Agriculture, Anita Validžić, on Thursday reached a plea deal with the prosecution in exchange for a more lenient sentence and was sentenced by the Zagreb County Court to nine months in prison, suspended for two years, due to her involvement in a corruption scandal.
