Valuable archaeological finds discovered in cave on Pelješac peninsula

ZAGREB, 15 June (Hina) - Archaeological excavations in the Crno Jezero cave above Ponikve on the Pelješac peninsula, carried out at the end of May and in the first half of this month, have uncovered valuable archaeological finds indicating the cave was used over millennia as an Illyrian sanctuary, necropolis and dwelling.
