322 medals won by Croats at Olympics, European and world championships in 2024

ZAGREB, 31 Dec (Hina) - Croatian sportswomen and sportsmen have won a total of 322 medals at international competitions including the 2024 Olympic Games, world championship and cups and European championships and cups, in the outgoing year, according to information provided by the Croatian Olympic Committee (HOO).

Of those medals, 129 were golds, 84 silvers and 109 bronze medals, the HOO says after it has received reports from the relevant national sports associations on performance of Croatian athletes in 2024. 

Furthermore, in various categories of junior and cadet age groups, young Croatian athletes have bagged more than 200 medals.

7 medals from Summer Olympic Games

The central sports event of 2024 was the Olympic Games in Paris where Croatians won seven medals — two gold, two silver, and three bronze — and thus made it possible for Croatia to be ranked 30th in the success standings out of a total of 206 countries participating in the international Olympic movement.
