EC: Croatia didn't ask for extension of deadline for use of ESF funds

ZAGREB, 9 Feb (Hina) - The European Social Fund directive does not foresee the possibility of extending the period of 18 months to utilise approved funding and Croatia did not ask for an extension to utilise the funds it was granted after the earthquakes in Zagreb and Sisak Moslavina County, a European Commission spokesman said on Wednesday.
