Unions opposed to public-sector cuts, employers consider them necessary

ZAGREB, April 9 (Hina) - Trade union leaders and the Croatian Employers' Association (HUP) sent diametrically opposite messages to the government on Thursday regarding possible cuts in the public sector - while the unions were strongly opposed to cuts, employers considered them necessary.
