An estimated 10,000 abandoned pets in Croatia waiting for new owners

ZAGREB, Dec 19 (Hina) - Two associations promoting animal rights have drawn attention to an estimated 10,000 abandoned pets throughout Croatia, recommending that in the run-up to the Christmas and New Year holidays people take in abandoned pets from shelters instead of buying them in shops.
