Minister says gov't has understanding for pay rise in healthcare sector, to go into force on Sept 1

ZAGREB, Sept 11 (Hina) - Health Minister Milan Kujundzic said on Wednesday that he informed a meeting of the inner cabinet of healthcare workers' unions' demands for a pay rise, for which, he said, the government had understanding, noting that an average wage increase of 7% for healthcare workers would take effect on September 1.
