ZAGREB, Sept 4 (Hina) - The victories of Croatian Olympic champions, Sandra Perkovic and Sara Kolak, in the discus and javelin throws and of Shane Brathwaite, a hurdler from Barbados, in the 110 metres hurdles marked the 69th edition of the IAAF World Challenge meeting in Zagreb on Tuesday.
Some other stars in the Hanzekovic track and field meeting, which was held in the Mladost Stadium, were U.S. sprinters Phyllis Francis and Allyson Felix.
The shot put event was held the day before at the Zagreb Fountains and the world champion Tom Walsh of New Zealand was the winner.
