Minister says new applications for veteran status not necessarily eligible for pension

ZAGREB, May 10 (Hina) - Veterans' Minister Tomo Meved on Friday commented on 1,687 new applications for veteran status, saying that that did not necessarily mean they were automatically applying for a pension and that the ministry had accounted for this two years ago and that funds had been secured so the state budget would not be affected.
