Kiwanuka combines the authentic sound of soul and blues with elements of indie and folk rock, creating modern songs with a vintage feel.
Although often compared by critics to music giants such as Curtis Mayfield, Van Morrison and Marvin Gaye, Kiwanuka himself says that his versatile style is mostly inspired by Otis Redding and Jimi Hendrix. He has so far released two studio albums, 2012's Home Again and 2016's Love & Hate.
It will be Michael Kiwanuka's second concert in Croatia, after performing at Zagreb's InMusic Festival in 2017.
