HRT director-general: Zovko's employment contract terminated over threats, assault on editor

ZAGREB, March 4 (Hina) - In a comment on Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic's statement about Croatian Radio and Television (HRT) reporter and Croatian Journalists Association (HND) leader Hrvoje Zovko, HRT Director-General Kazimir Bacic said on Monday that the public broadcaster had terminated Zovko's employment contract over threats and an assault on the editor in chief of the HRT's news department, an incident about which, he said, four HRT employees who had witnessed it had testified.
