In 2023, Henri Coanda International Airport was transited by approximately 15 million people, with an average of 43,000 people per day in the summer season. Starting from April 01, the border guards will continue to be present in the premises of airports in Romania, and will carry out punctual and unannounced checks to verify the identity and legal status of persons, but also to prevent and combat possible illegal acts.
